I brought along some really lightweight fishing waders. They may have made the difference between fishing and catching. This is Fern Lake, elevation about 9500 feet, where we camped the second night. The fish are a really pretty Colorado Greenback Cutthroat trout. This is a catch and release lake, so unfortunately we got to have freeze-dried beef stroganoff for dinner.
